What symptoms may indicate that you need a crown or bridge?

What happens during the treatment?

We first examine your teeth and discuss the available treatment options. If necessary, the affected teeth are prepared and measurements or scans are taken so that the crown or bridge can be made to fit accurately. In many cases, you will receive a temporary restoration while the final crown or bridge is being made.

Does the treatment hurt?

If tooth tissue needs to be treated, a local anaesthetic can be used. This usually makes the procedure comfortable. The area may feel slightly sensitive for a short time after treatment.

How long does the treatment take?
